The worst thing you can do is set your alarm to wake up in the morning

This is one of the best pieces of advice I got in a long time.

Why is that?

Because when you need an alarm to wake up it shows you didn't go to bed early enough.

So what should you do?

You should do what I have been doing for the past few months and it's changed the game.

Set your alarm to go to bed.

Not to wake up.

If your alarm is set to go to bed at 9 you will be asleep by 9:30

And even if you get 8 hours of sleep you will be awake at 5:30

This is one simple habit that people underestimate because if you go to bed on time it acts as one habit that stacks on top of another.

Look at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson—he’s one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood, a fitness icon, and a major influence in business.

But back when he was a struggling athlete, The Rock was in debt, dealing with injuries, and at a major crossroads.

One of the shifts he made?

His sleep and wake habits.

He prioritized going to bed and waking up at consistent times every single day.

Now he’s famous for his 4 AM workouts, but it’s only possible because he keeps a disciplined sleep schedule.

The Rock’s commitment to a routine helped him build the body, the mental toughness, and the discipline that launched him to the top.

He’s not just training his body; he’s conditioning his mind to focus, act decisively, and avoid distractions—all of which started with mastering that simple habit of setting a bedtime.

And as someone focused on winning in data, finance, or business, this is a power move.

Think about it:

If you go to bed early, you're less likely to get distracted, stay focused, and be ready to train or learn early in the morning.

Stay up late, and you’re more likely to binge Netflix, eat a load of junk food, and cut down on all the progress that getting a good night's sleep can bring.

Also, from a looks perspective, you're going to:

1) Look younger (studies back this)

2) Recover better

3) Build more muscle (remember your brain is a muscle).

There are a million habits that people tell you but this might be the most important one.

You can win so easily.

People ask this same question every year, all the time.

How do you get ahead?

But, no one sticks to the fundamentals.

When you think about it, too many people are spending their lives stuck to their phones morning, day, and night.

So, by putting your phone down and going to bed you get ahead.

People are so weak nowadays.

If you can actually put down your phone and go to bed you're going to win.

Trust me it's that easy.

The world is there for the taking for those that want it.

This is why so many successful people wake up super early.

They workout, eat healthy, and get their mind right.

Alright, that's enough.
